Global animal nutrition company Tonisity International has strengthened its engagement with the Australian livestock sector, with CEO Mathieu Cortyl undertaking a nationwide technical tour in March 2026. The visit brought Mathieu together with veterinarians, nutritionists, production managers, and researchers across key production regions of Australia, with a strong focus on advancing early-life nutrition strategies. Central to discussions were Tonisity Px and the newly introduced Tonisity PxW, both designed to support hydration, gut development, and nutrient uptake in young animals. Throughout the tour, Mathieu participated in technical meetings and on-farm visits, exchanging insights on how early nutritional interventions can improve survival rates, growth performance, and overall herd health. Discussions highlighted the importance of hydration, early nutrition intervention and gut functionality as key influencers of lifetime productivity, particularly during the critical neonatal phase. Speaking during the tour, Mathieu emphasised the importance of collaboration with local industry experts. He noted that Australia’s diverse production systems provide valuable insight into how nutritional technologies can be adapted to different environments and management practices. The visit also reinforced Tonisity’s commitment to research and partnership within the region, with discussions exploring future trials and opportunities to further validate early-life nutrition solutions under Australian conditions. Mathieu’s 14 day tour down-under, reflects Tonisity International’s broader strategy to align science, innovation, and on-farm application and support the of pig producers in improving outcomes through targeted nutritional intervention and support at the most critical stage of life.
